The ‘alternative’ website and blog for Menston village, Wharfedale.
This website was set up originally as the ‘official’ website, run by the Parish Council, had not been working for over a year. When in was on line again it was still rather ‘institutional’ in approach and appearance, did not have a blog incorporated and there was no way for community members to publicly comment on items or join in discussions. So the ‘alternative’ was continued.
Since then special sections have been created for the Menston Community Association (which represents all adult residents), the annual Menston Village Show, and the Menston Business Association.
